As a result of the "To UV or not to UV" debate which goes around between Crestie owners I decided to make this poll to see how many of us do use UV lighting in in our Crested Gecko enclosures.

I use them because:
a) I need them for my live plants
b) as Helzwash said it improves the look of the terrarium when its lit up :)

I don't use it because it isn't essential. Sure it might make them grow bigger or a bit healthier, but being a kid with one gecko and a small budget I don't think its nessecary.

I don't use it, I figure if the diet is well rounded he will get all the nutrients he needs from that, and UV would just add extra cost, and another set of wires which would turn the already impossibly complex jumble that I have behind my two vivaria into an even bigger mess!
