A possible idea of a 'reptile shops' area, somewhere in the classifieds section, where users can add online stores to a list and review/recommend them to others, or even share a bad experience.
Is this a possibility?

EDIT: Also, maybe a section for product reviews? e.g Exo Terra VS Zoo Med, something like that?

lol you disapeared for ages, was you thinking of an idea all that time? . Erm i believe we have something like that allready, mark made it, where we put reptile shops down that we know of, aswell as infomation on it + contact details, so i think thats all done n dusted

But I thought the one that Mark made was more for Reptile shops in your area, not online websites.
Oh I've just thought of another small idea, i'll place it in the original post

i would have thought the post mark made would cover all of that, it just so happens that no one has actually posted any online stores for his section, but now that people know they can be posted on that thread and mark/me will update it :D. as for product reviews i would say that should have a seperate sticky, which i shall make now for people to add. I can indeed make it like a survey, with items in that category, so if it was thermostats, you would give a good few names of thermostats, and people can pick there best, and also explain why they chose it, and what benefits it has of others.

We will plan it out before we jump ahead, just so we know what type of set-up to have for it, let me know ollie what you had in mind

I'm not really sure on the set-ups you can create being a mod
But the survey idea sounds quite good.

The main categories should be:
-Terrariums (exo terra or zoo med)
-Thermostats (habistat or lucky reptile etc)
-Heat/UV lighting (massive variety)
-Crested Gecko Diet

Other important categories:
-Plants (exo terra or zoo med)
-Substrate (big variety)
-Accessories (waterfalls, foggers and mad naturals)

There's probably many more we could add to the list

Ollie thats a pretty good idea. I have also added a couple of websites to the reptile shop list
