hello!
i'm helen and i'm new.a friend from aviva recommended signing up here for cresties advice!
currently have 3 cats:
mowgli - spotted silver bengal cross who's a little micheivous thing. very independant but is a 'mummies' boy, he'll do things for me that my partner andy could never get him to do!
snowy - domestic shorthair black rescue cat with 3 legs (back leg missing), she's very very un-intelligent for a cat so think she had minor brain damage when she lost her leg. nevertheless though she is gorgeous and is very sweet natured but quite jumpy.
scampi - domestic (tabby but no stripes just spots) longhair who's a bit of both of the above 2! sweet natured like snowy but has mowglis mischeivous side. she purs very loudly but purs whenever she's happy,scared or doesn't feel well so she's a bit strange.

always wanted a reptile and looked into getting a bearded dragon before we started out with mowgli but since we got the cats i dont think its safe to have a 4ft viv around. so have recently researched EVERYWHERE about crested geckos and have decided it's the right reptile for me. we have the spaced for a 18x18x24 but starting out with a 12x12x18 as we intend to get a baby. i will post a new thread for some advice about things im not sure of!
