With the holiday season fast approaching, I was wondering what everyone does with their cresties when they're away for a day/week month?
I'm lucky that I've got good neighbours

lol lucky you! Well my dad loves decorating, and cause my little sister is allways hyper and shes up and down, and all around its hard for him to do any decorating while we are at home, so when we all go off on holidays, he stays at home and decorates lol, hes no good with reptile keeping...so i have to leave him lists of stuff that need to be done, and when i went centre parcs back in april, he fed and watered, turned on my fan, and sprayed my cresties vivarium everyday, twice a day, so hes pretty good like that, except now he has an extra leachie to look after :D. You going anywhere nice this year? ive got great yarmouth (maybe spelt wrong) planned for august, which i got to see if i can get those days off work for it..currently they have been taken >.< but i might have to pursuade my managers, as its all booked! And then im going to centre parcs AGAIN in early november, so nowhere special...but still, going to have great fun.

I either have family that comes over to spray or ask a neighbour, they are pretty helpful to be honest. I also put some sphagnum moss in the tanks to help keep the humidity up. I pre-mix a load of CGD and leave it in the fridge so that whoever comes in just has to put some in the dishes.

My mom will take care of my pets while i'm gone. She'll even do it for a few weeks while i'm down in Arkansas. I'm glad she thinks my lizards are cute because if she was afraid of them she wouldnt even go in the same room as them.

I'm currently staying with my parents for the summer, so my house at uni is empty, needless to say I needed to bring the guys with me. My collection is very small at the moment but I have no doubt its going to grow, then it will be more difficult I think.
Are reptile hotels expensive? Theres a reptile centre in Nottingham from which I bought my snake that takes people's pets while they're away but I'm worried about the cost so I tend to get friends to come round and leave them a set of instructions! Lol

I usually just have my friend come over every few days to change out the food dish when I'm away. There's a reptile store near here that will house my Ball Python for just $5 a night, but ever since they sold me a sick snake and told me CGD doesn't work, I didn't trust them with my animals.

Yeah I think I would have to have complete faith before I left them my animals too. I'm not going anywhere for a while so I don't need to worry about it for now, lol.
