Basically, i said in another post that there was no growth charts on this species of gecko that i have found, and as people on here love crested geckos, leachianous are from the same place so pretty simular, and as they grow so big im sure people, and i..would like to know exactly how much they grow by. I had the thought that they eat ALOT and would be atleast 30g-40g by 3 weeks old, but i weighed my gecko this morning and i was wrong. So im going to make a little chart on here, which il update every week. Im going to be feeding live food as well as cgd, so if the gecko eats them he/she will put on weight faster than if he/she was just fed on cgd.

Ohh what sites are they? I like having a variety of choices to buy geckos from, cause atm im only stuck with 2 people (lilly exotics + dean) but lillyexotics wont be any help as they only have 1 pair, so if i bought another it would be related. Which wouldnt help me if i ever did decide to breed them, or try make them compatable to save some space.

Its been updated, unfortunatly its not the results i was looking for. The gecko has dropped 2g in a week, which means if it doesnt eat for another week, the gecko will defo end up dieing. Im trying many different ways to bring him back to good health, so time to just wait and see. Ive bought a faunarium which he shall live in for about 4 months until hes eating and good weight (might even be earlier than that)

He is probably just still settling in mate, the weight will start to go up soon enough, I know they eat CGD but what about live food?

Well that's just the thing, I gave 2 crickets like a week ago, checked bk after an hour or so, only found 1 so I removed it, then a few days later I found the other 1...and i had noticed the leachie hiding, so it couldve been he was scared to come out n eat. He was out yesterday, hopefully he ate somthing.

he definatly isnt compacted, no doubt about it. I keep all my geckos except for my leo's on kitchen roll, (as my leos are 4 years old and have good hunting skills). The leachie just been a little stressed as there was a problem with delivery etc but wont go into that, and with young geckos any journey can cause them not to eat for a while..so alot of stuff plays a big part in this, travel = stress, new home = stress, being chased by a cricket for days = stress. so its just a matter of elimating them 1 by 1, until he feels safe enough to feel comfortable. The settling down is complete, otherwise he wouldnt be wandering at all. The cricket buisness got soughted, i personally killed that one myself . So just a matter of waiting till he gets so hungry he cant resfuse 2 types of food he has on offer. Baby food (mango suprise) with added calcium (this is by all means not a good way at all to feed a gecko, but to save one it is.) and he also has on offer cgd mixed with baby food (just to get him interested). the baby food wont be there forever, just for 2 weeks max until hes putting on weight, then eventually 75% baby food, 25% cgd will be reduced each week by 25% of baby food, until there is completely none.
